Hello

I am working with the new Buildr template. However, every time I save it in the admin panel, I have to debug the script.

Can you please advise why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Are you on a live server or a localhost?

How much memory does the account have?

Do you get this in different browsers?

Actually its stopped! Has been doing it for weeks and now, I post in the forum, and its stopped! BUT.... I think it was with a certain layout.

To be honest, I am just finding my way around your templates, it's taking me some time!

Quick question while I'm here.... I don't have the Zen base theme loaded, where can I get that from?

It could be the memory limit on the hosting account - do you know what that is for the account?

Regarding zenbase - you are referring to the sub theme inside buildr - is that correct?

And not the standalone template called Zenbase?

sorry for the delay, and thank you for your responses.

The problem does still exist. Along with another problem - I can't save changes to PRESETS.

I have gone through the documentation for saving Preset, but no joy. It saves for one time! and then when I return to the presets, it has been replaced by the default blank

I have checked the forum, and people mentioned the php memory. That is 256M.

Also, my hosting package has 4,000MB space.

Hi Paul, no this isn't going to work.

I have spent hours on the template, and can not get it to perform as it should.

So I reverted back to my own template while awaiting your last response.

You respond by saying, start a ticket.

I spend a couple more hours reverting back to your template and getting as far with it as I can without problems so I can send a ticket.

Just when I think everything is going great, I hit Save and it deletes everything except one container!

Sorry, think I'm just going to go back to my own templates.

Talking to the developers they suggest the php timeout limit is set too low

Can you try adjusting that?

I am on a Hostgator shared account. These are the PHP settings that are apparently set and which I can not change;
safe mode = Off (cannot adjust)
memory_limit = 256M (MAXIMUM)
max_execution_time = 30 (MAXIMUM in seconds)
max_input_time = 60 (MAXIMUM in seconds)
post_max_size = 64M (MAXIMUM)
upload_max_filesize = 64M (MAXIMUM)
enable_dl = Off (cannot adjust)

Is the php timeout limit one of these?

Hi Jo,

Sorry to hear of the trouble you have been having with the theme.

Unfortunately, it's impossible for us to give you an accurate answer here as the issue seems to be related to your hosting settings.

If you could open up a ticket with access details to the site we could look into the errors more closely, but as the errors you are seeing report that the script has been terminated, the best thing to do would be to get in touch with your host and ask them why the server is killing the script before it has a chance to complete.

With your memory limit at 256mb the compilation of the theme should take under 10 seconds to complete.
