Horizontal menu in bottom6 position

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,

I added the bottom6 position between the footer and the copyright position in the Buildr template and published a menu with 2 items to the bottom6 position (sitemap and search, each with a zen-icon). How do I get the menu-items to line up horizontaly?

Kind Regards,
Jos

Try adding zen-nav as the class

Thanks, that works! But there is no space between the menu items. Do I have to adjust the CSS?

hmm not quite why you need to but try adding

#bottom6 .zen-nav.zen-center li {padding-right:1em;}

Hi Paul,

I renamed the css-file to custom.css and added your code. It doesn't seem to have any effect.

ah sorry yes I suggested also using the zen-center class to center the module

As you aren't using that class in the module it won't work

so instead just try

#bottom6 .zen-nav li {padding-right:1em;}

Hi Paul,

Well, it doesn't center anymore..... but there still is no space between the menu-items I'm afraid.

Hi Jos,

I see padding on the footer at the moment

If you want it to center you will need to add the nav-center class both to the module and to the custom css

Hi Paul,

It seems it took some time to come to effect and I like it just fine the way it looks now. Thank you very much (again)!

If you add some css and you know it's correct I'd check to see if you have caching enabled either on the server or the site itself
