Zentools2 link question

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Friends,

I'm working on a Buildr
ScreenShot2016-06-27at12.20.12PM.png

site using Zentools2 v2.2.6 and I have 6 items in a grid. I would like the link to be Manual, and linked to outside URL's. I had accomplished this before using the Manual Links window, and then entering the full URL of each item, followed by return/enter, putting each link in its own row, in the order in which they are selected (title ascending).

It's not working. Is there another setting I'm forgetting? At best it only links back to item, if that is selected.

Thanks!

2 pages where I'd like the content of the Zentools modules to link to outside resources.

www.trcmarin.org/trcnewagain/resources/useful-resources-and-links/cloud-storage

www.trcmarin.org/trcnewagain/resources/useful-resources-and-links/accessibility-links

Happy to give back end access if you want.

Also another quirk coming up in Zentools2 modules - I have a couple of grid modules set to grab tag content. I've been very careful on my tagging of articles, and selecting the tags, not wanting children tags. Yet when they render on the front end, a bunch of other articles appear that definitely are NOT tagged for this module. Any ideas on getting rid of them?

Thanks

That's how they were set at the outset.

Do you get the same if you remove the first link as that is php rather than html

Latest tests:

I re-entered all the manual links, got a different one for the Firefox one that is not php.

Still no luck, and here's another funny thing, I have two modules like this, neither work, and on both of them the first item in the module, even though I have assigned links, don't even link back to the item as fallback, no link at all.

I hit return after copying in each link - this triggers the entry on new line to be assigned to the next item, yes?

Suggestions? Many thanks!

sorry I haven't had chance to try this myself yet as its not something anybody has asked before - my initial thought would be not use tags and instead images from a folder using the filenames and manual links

Is there a particular reason you are using tags?
