hiding child menu items

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello

Using the Buildr template and trying to disable a child menu item in the main navigation. I've disabled Show Title in the ZenMenu tab, but an empty container is still loading in the main navigation (see screenshot attached).

Is there another setting I'm missing?

Thanks

Can you attach a screenshot of the meet the team menu item with the zen menu active

sorry I'm a bit confused by the screenshots

I see the child menu items displaying from the "Meet the Team".

You want these items to not show? are they on restricted access?

Probably easier if you visit the dev site: casite-716936.cloudaccess.net/ In Main Menu, go to Overview and then hover over Our Team. An empty sub menu container loads. Trying to get rid of that.

Thanks.

Check the parent item "meet the team" - in the zen menu section

Do you have links in the menu itself that you are not displaying? - I'm thinking of the screenshot with the 3 menu items displaying

Yes, I have 3 links (staff members) that I don't want to display in main menu

So they have an access level set or not to show ever?

I'd add them to a hidden menu in that case instead of the main menu

hidden menu being a menu created but not in a menu module published anywhere on the site

That would work, but want the employee URLs to be under …

www.xxxxxxx.com/overview/meet-the-team/…

Not quite why you would want that but I guess you have two options

Use display none on that particular dropdown or

use a hidden menu to recreate the menu structure using aliases
