Change display date format

I am wanting to change the date format from d-m-Y to m-d-Y which appears on the Grid 18 module, News Blog. I've researched and saw where you can do language overrides, but I didn't see one that matched this format, d-m-Y. I'm at a loss. Can you please tell me what I need to change? I'm using Colourshift2 template.

Hi Pat,

Just to confirm you are using zentools2 as with the module?

HI Pat,

In the module if you open up date settings does selecting

6-24-2015

do the trick?
