accordion menu with accordion

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi there,
I have two copies of Medica on a client's site: www.eggerzkg.eu
I want to show the accordion menu as accordion.
It works when I set it in one template, but only for the menu assigned to the template.

In the minute I change menu view to accordion in the second template, it reverts back to the panel view (meaning I still see accordion in the template backend, but not on the website).

I reloaded with STRG+F5.

Furthermore all settings for modules on the frontpage are gone, once I did the change. Why?

Can you please help me to sort it out.

Hi

Do you have the menu structured the same e.g. using menu header as the toggles?

Do you have the module classes added to the module used as the accordion menu?

For "Furthermore all settings for modules on the frontpage are gone, once I did the change. Why?"

Do you mean the templates settings or settings added to modules?

Thanks

Can you explain better?
In the template backend I have the same settings for both menus. The menu is the same.

I have no module class added to the menu module.

Thanks a lot

Hi

For example on the demo site

bambootheme.com/showcase/apr16/template-features/module-overview/module-classes-2

zen-nav zen-nav-stacked zen-lines zen-accordion
which is added the Menu Class Suffix

Cheers

Ok, thanks. maybe I am missing something here or used the wrong wording. Unfortunately the documentation of Medica is not what docs used to be.

1) I simply want the menu under services to show all submenus. The same for Login.
2) At the moment this happens only when I am navigating to the menu services, then the submenus open.
3) The description in menus (backend template) for accordion describe this behavior if it is set to panel. Not, if set to accordion (a sub setting of accordion). I could not find a similar description under the other menu choices.
4) I got it to work, but only for 5 minutes and one menu.

So what setting do I have to apply to have the menu showing as planned?

Thanks a lot

1) Do you have drop downs set to show in the module itself?

We are talking about different menu modules type so disregard what I said above regarding accordion classes

Thanks, this was it. Strange it is normally always turned on.

And interesting it still worked with a combination of template setting just for one menu.

All fine. Thanks a lot
