I get this in several templates so i suspect it's a Joomla issue not JB. But still and all... :pinch:

Hi

Page display heading option set to global?

Try menus manager in global configuration see if that is YES

I'm assuming you aren't overriding it in the menu link page display tab

If you aren't then I'd look at your article or other link settings

Check in the menu links to see if Show Page Heading is set to YES

A link setting always overrides a global setting

I was looking to do this globally, not link by link. So if i set a class for menu items in a particular menu, then I can suppress in css.

I am going to call this a joomla faux pas.

If the menu link is set as yes it normally means it has been changed
as by default it should be global

But it's set to know, but globally it's showing up as though yes. so something isn't working.

We have been seeing the same with menu title and article title global settings not being respected across the site.

It seems to only happen when the menu or article is set different from global and then changed back to global. It seems to have crept in in the last Joomla release, I had not noticed it before. Need to test and be able to repeat it to be able to report as a Joomla feature.

We recently also had a situation of the default template style not being respected when an alternative for a page was selected and reverted to global/default. Neeed to be saved out twice. May be unrelated but seems to be the same flavour of issue. We had put down to user error but it may worth a further dig around to try to recreate and then examine the db and logs.

Anyway makes things more interesting and the monitor gets a good talking to!

Regards Ian

Does that work for you saving as yes and then saving again as no?
