I want to have the picture displayed on a single item (above the item, Titel in the picture) like in the demo.

How does the setup work. I could not find instructions in the docs.

Hi there,

You need to use the Joomla image link to do this.

1. Edit the article then add your intro and fulltext image under the images and link tab.
That should do it.

I tried to set the image under the k2 item image tab. But the effect is not triggered.

I have zenkit installed and use the common theme.

I guess the question is if it is CSS changes only ore more.

You first see the picture in question in the banner position.
Then comes the k2 item. The same picture has been assigned using the k2 item image tab. The picture is displayed, just not like in the demo of Gazetta. I hoped that I could make use of the effect to distinct items in each category (kind of like on the corporate theme, but fresher).

I also tried to use featured, but it just gives the "featured" upper right corner badget.

k2 version is the latest.

The first module is Joomla and second is k2

I've used a different title tag for the heading in the k2 module setting

I played with the k2 item.php, but I guess it comes down to whether Gazetta will get a k2 updated as it is not only the override but also the "with image/without image" logic.

Sorry for pushing here, but after the security issues and updates of last weeks the client considers porting to 3 without the corporate theme, also giving the site a revamp.

The decission is pretty much, if the image effect is available in k2 e.g. via an update or zenkit?

The styling of the k2 item alone is not a big problem, it is to understand how to make use of the helpers for with image.
