Single Article layout issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi, sorry, but I can't figure out how to get layout for single article, as on this page:
I uploaded quick start package on test subdomain and have same settings/layout for template, but result is different. Here is layout I am looking for

test.redlinia.com/index.php/joomla/single-article

I started from scratch here, and not getting same layout no matter what:

places.redlinia.com/abkhazi-gardens

Article image is missing and for some reason print/mail icons are missing.
Checking both pages I can see that DIV classes are different, one has background and proper layout, another is
#midCol > main > div > div.img-left.item-image.article-image.article-image-full.

Not sure what do you mean to switch theme? Should I try load different themes and switch page theme?
I did start first (main) installation from scratch, Joomla, then Gazetta template and other plugins/modules, including 3rd party. Created different layouts derived from main theme. For reference I loaded Gazetta Quick Start to another subdomain for testing and learning and trying match settings or check if I have issue with main installation.
Here screenshot for shortcode:

I can see pages renedered differently, correct one in Quick Start has this before article element:

<div style="background: url('/images/democontent/unsplash-august/photo-1437422061949-f6efbde0a471.jpeg');" class="img-none item-image article-image article-image-full">

</div>

Mine one has different div element,
<div class="img-left item-image article-image article-image-full">
<img src="/images/com_droppics/8/DSC6672-Edit.JPG" alt="" itemprop="image">
</div>

How and where do I control that?

I tried different settings under Layout in theme/page templates, but can't figure out which one is correct combination though. Everything seems match to Quick Start settings

One more issue, not sure if its related, but I have settings in template LeftBar Main COntent (as photo attached), but page displayed with SideBar1 on a right side, no matter what. I tried load different saved settings, shuffle around, still can't get it on left side?

Example:
places.redlinia.com/categories

For the icons change load latest from cdn to disable

You only need to load latest if you really need the latest icons and are adding css to load the icons

Hmm, it didn't help. I tried different settings combinations there (enable/disable, load local, etc), none of them did effect though?

Looks like a conflict with

places.redlinia.com/index.php?option=com_ajax&plugin=arktypography&format=json

Try disabling or uninstalling that plugin

Hi Eugene,

Can you try setting the Joomla image float option to none. This can be done in the article settings for the images and links or in the global config for the content manager.

Thanks

It looks better with "None" but image not fit/sized into background, only partial top is visible. But at least its more close to result.
Size I am using is about 800x560px,
See attached screenshot:

Hi Eugene,

The image above is displaying the way the theme was designed. You can see that on the demo site.

Can you explain your other issue in more detail? I see sidebar-2 (right) displaying to the right and the layout that is rendered is the main right layout without the sidebar 1.

Thanks

Yes, got that, I did adjust using custom css to move image higher to -80px position, otherwise it shows too much top.

Regarding SideBar positions, I tried to use SideBar1 on a left side, set in template manager, but it always shows up on right side, no matter what set in template, so I am using SideBar 2 position now, it is placed on a left side, as you can see. But for some reason SideBar1 doesn't go to left on any circumstances, perhaps by design. So I guess I can live with using sidebar2 only.

Btw, If you check your Gazetta demo, it doesn't show Left Main Right layout, something wrong there, see screen I am getting

demo.joomlabamboo.com/index.php?theme=aug15
