I installed Gazetta on my localhost while developing my site. I used WAMP that uses PHP version 5.5.12. I backed up using Akeeba backup and restored on my live site that uses PHP version 5.3.14. The menu has stopped working properly. I changed the template from Gazetta to responsive2 and it works ok.

Is the older PHP not supported by Gazetta? Please help.

When you say not working - can you describe the issue in a bit more depth?

With that php version you may find some extensions and components don't update e.g. like akeeba backup may not install the latest version because of this

Also you are not far away from the minimum specification for a Joomla install

The php version is also very old so isn't that secure
