Link preview data for things like Facebook and Outlook 365

I've been noticing that when receiving emails from an Outlook 365 sender Outlook by default adds a nice looking banner in the bottom of the email as a preview of a copied web link. Facebook has a similar feature when posting web links.

Which set or sets of metadata would I need to edit within the Joomla 3.x back end to "control" what's going into this link preview?

Hi Josh,

They are called Open Graph or OG tags for short.

There are a few plugins that allow you to manipulate the content there. Cory Webb has one that will do this for you:
corywebbmedia.com/joomla-extensions/cw-so-meta

Or you could try one from the extensions.joomla.org site.
