Hi,

I'm trying to install the latest version of Zentools2, and I'm getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/colf/public_html/tmp/install_58ffc043d0f3d/packages/plg_ajax_zentools2/installer.script.php on line 20

Any help would be much appreciated!

That could well be the problem

Can you try upgrading to at least 5.6

With 5.3.29 you will run into problems with several popular Joomla extension providers

Also depending on the host they may ask you to upgrade to a version that isn't end of life e.g. 5.6

My own personal host isn't happy about my 5.4 sites and are asking for updates

php7 is better but for that you would need to check other extensions were compatible
