Building my first gallery using Zentools 2, I used to use a plugin for this, but I am trying to drop all of these other plugins and build everything (where i can) under one roof - being Zen Tools.

However i just seem to be facing constant problems, which is slowing me down and making me re consider using this.

I have built a gallery using Zen tools 2 - I am using Grid, and only displaying an image. No text or title etc.

Under image settings i have selected 'lightbox'. All fades etc seem to be working great, but nothing happens when i click the image. Not receiving any console errors, and i can cleary see the lightbox scripts have been added to the html when viewing in dev tools. I have read the documentation and i am sure i am not missing any setting here.

Just for your information i am using Joomla Banners, as Joomla categories was not displaying any of the images i added into an article, using the images and links section, then trying to just input the image in the wysiwyg (again another frustrating issue).

Any help will be much appreciated.

Does the content source have to be "banners"?

Hi Paul,

I was hoping to get everything done before the site goes live. Trying to avoid getting this on the server before then, so i do not have to re upload the site and database, but i can if this is the only way to resolve.

I don't have to use Joomla Banners no, as i said in my original post I did first attempt to use articles, then put the image in the JCE Editor, and also tried using images & links in the article. Both attempts did not show the gallery what so ever, so i tried the Joomla banners, which at least show and re size those images.

If this lightbox is not compatible with joomla banners, then i'm concerned that you are allowed to use those, and the documentation does not state which content source should be used for each feature.

Regarding Banners - its more for me testing so you have something like

and picking the articles in the category to load that contain the images

This has worked as i originally wanted it too, I dont know why i was using Joomla Categories, i should of been using the Joomla content source! My mistake.

There is a slight problem with the lightbox, I would love to share a link once this site is online so I can show you.
