How can I add button to an article using zentools2

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,

I have installed highline quickstart template. I was wondering how can I add a button to an article that links to contact page using zentools2?

Thanks

Hi

It would be a readmore if using the zentools module and enable the button option in the readmore settings

If it was a standard button and not a module one you would use the button class in the html

bambootheme.com/showcase/apr16/template-features/module-overview/typography

Towards the bottom of the page

There are several examples if you inspect source in the browser

e.g

<button class="btn">I am a button</button>

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the help, although I was wondering if I could connect a button added with zentools2 to menu items which I couldn't perform, I could connect with categories or items which are articles.

Please have a look at this website www.globalads.xyz . On the home page blogs are displayed with the help zentools2, but if I click on the any item, it is redirected to home-page again. What am I missing?

With modules that re-load the home page but with a different url it means the itemid issue

to solve this create a hidden menu and add links for the category of the links loading in the module

You can also use article links for a more thorough solution

Have these settings changed or have they always been like this?

Hello Paul,

I have updated to latest version of Joomla 3.6.1. Is it because of that?

You're using a release candidate version of Joomla?

The most recent confirmed stable release is 3.6.0

Have you tried clearing your browser and site cache?

Hello Paul,

I have installed another highline quickstart package, also updated to joomla 3.6.1, however I can see all the options to edit articles. I must have changed some settings for my website but I don't remember or precisely know what has made edit options for article disappear.

Try going to the system > global configuration >articles (menu on left) > tabs at the top of screen and look in editing layout tab
