I have tried added a nbsp; after the word By but ZT2 will delete it upon saving....

How do I get a space after "By"

What happens if you refresh the page and/or edit something else on the module. I'll test more but the space is removed by something at some point.

Hi Jeff,
My copy of the module already has the space because (as you found the spaces are stripped out).
Can you go to modles/mod_zentools2/tpls/elements/author.php and make sure there is a space bewtween the author pretext and $item->author; code?
