Images / Categories - Not Available

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Good Morning Paul,

I'm working on some edits for www.movementsolutions.ca and have Zentools installed. I wanted to add a new module so i installed the latest version of Zentools2 but I am unable to select images from a directory. It is blank.

If I select Categories it is also blank. However, I can select articles and they come up.

Do you think there is a conflict somewhere?

I'm off to run some errands and will probably not be back for a while. It's grocery shopping day.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Do you see any errors in the console window?

Hi Paul,

Here I am 3 months later back at this issue as I'm trying to complete a task.

The console is indicating a 404 Error for: movementsolutions.ca/administrator/index.php?option=com_ajax&group=system&plugin=sendStats&format=raw

I've optimized the DB; cleared out the temp files; turn off and on again the zentools system plugin and the ajax plugin, cleared the cache, updated Zentools to the latest.

I am also running Admintools.

Thanks,

Steve

As far as I know. I also double checked the files in the Administrator folder and everything appears to be correct.

Yes I am. I tried adding com_ajax to Admintools but I couldn't get it to work unless I entered it wrong. If Admintools isn't the culprit, is there a possibility that it is being blocked by hosting company?

Are you able to temporarily disable the component either via the settings in the component or

via extensions > manage > Search tools button > select type (component)

Thanks Paul. I just created the ticket. Enjoy your night. As well, I disabled Admin Tools by changing one of the file names.

Hi,

Was there a solution to this? Having the same problem.
Can't see any content to select in Zentools2.
All zentools2 plugins enabled.

Thanks.

Yes it was solved. Anthony provided me with new files. Paul, are you able to grab them or should I post them?

I just realized I got a couple of my issues mixed up. This particular one was due to the following: "Your com_ajax component is not inline with your version of Joomla." Rob took a look at this for me.

Have you double checked that the ajax plugins are enabled?

Have checked that the plugins are enabled. Whether they are inline or not I have no clue - but a big possiblity. I had to change the server php version before loading the JB Quickstart package.

Not being a guru on all things PHP or Joomla... in the menu Extension > Plugins > I searched for 'ajax' - and plg_ajax_zentools2 which was enabled. There were no other ajax entries.

Afrter a little digging I now know that is not what you were refering to. The Ajax Interface needed to be installed. Installing that has fixed the problem.

In the Joomla backend, go to Extensions >> Manage >> Manage, then see if Ajax Interface is in the list of installed extensions
Going to Extensions >> Manage >> Discover. If you see it there, install it.

Found the answer here: joomla.stackexchange.com/questions/16450/joomla-3-5-com-ajax-not-found.

Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction Steve.
