This is sort of an emergency feature request. "publish date" is missing in the "content order by" settings and I need that pretty soon ... next week

Brilliant. And since you are on it you could also solve this bug in the module: the publish up/down is not respected hence even outdated content gets displayed.

Sorry bit late here but can you clarify what you mean by publish up / down?

Do you mean trashed / unpublished articles are displaying?

This is a standard Joomla option. I dont know how else to name it since that is the naming the Joomla guys have chosen.

Oh, I see now they call it "Start Publishing" and "Finish Publishing". And zentools does not respect these settings, hence outdated content is still displayed.
