Creating nested columns in ZT2

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I wasn't able to control column position in ZT2 as in the previous version. Using Grouped, I couldn't create anything different than with just Grid. I am trying to get to

Col 12
Title

Col 6 Col 6
Image Introtext

But I can only get either-or. Not both.

Did I miss something?

(using 1.0.9)

Hi

Do you have screenshots?

Have you compiled the css after update?

Fresh install. not an update.

no screenshot, but it looks just like Grid - no way to create a second 'row' of columns. They just subdivide across the top of the layout box

Sorry I think I misread your initial post

Are you referring to zentools v1 as the previous version or a previous zentools 2 version?

I think with groups the title can only be in the column - I will check with Anthony this evening on this to confirm

This site has never had zentools on it before - it was virgin territory until ZT2 1.0.9

In the ZT2 docs, it seems grouped should allow me to have a grid12 headline atop two grid6 columns (or some other ratio). We could certainly do this in ZT1 - but I can't imagine this capability would have been intentionally left out of version2.

Right yep I take you point just not sure how this can apply with grouped as it would have stacked full width titles I'd have thought

But I can see the issue column flexibility wise

I'll ask Anthony about it

Hi :)

Spoken To Anthony on this :)

You can drag the column width if click and drag left and right on right side of dotted lined boxes

Hmmm - those boxes don't show up on my 2.2 mac gamma curve. (I've been meaning to mention that about your choice of light grays.)

This is way too light - at 2.2 gamma #eee is white
.zt-resizable {
    border: 4px dashed #eee;
}
