Bug in grid system after update on Joomla 3.6

I just updated my Joomla from 3.4 to 3.6. Just after the update the layout of the positions grid1-3 changed. After checking in the browser dev tools I discovered that grid2+3 are inside the grid1-div, and not on the same level, which causes the change. I attached here two images displaying 1) the code with the bug and 2) the code how it should normally be.

How or in which php-file can I change the order of the div positions?

Did you change any content or add new modules to the site prior to the upgrade in Joomla?

Sometimes this can be triggered by unclosed divs higher up the page
