Ordering in accordion module

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Paul,

is there an option to order the items in the accordion module to a fixed ordering? Only options are (order, alphabetical,...).

Cheers,
Lars.

Hi Lars,

The options for ordering are listed under ordering

Ordering - the ordering options are under the content tab in the module

Hi Paul,

yes, I found that. But I can only choose between reverse, alphabetical or random ordering. What I want is, that my articles get a dedicated ordering. E.g.
Position 1: Infrastructure Operation Center
Position 2: Security Operation Center
and so on.
Now the module takes the ordering as given in the box below the ordering tabs. But i can´t change the ordering here. I guess the ordering is driven by the item-id or so, but that´s not what I want.

Hi Lars,

Is this the latest version of the module?

With the Joomla ordering option you should be able to drap and drop the order of the articles in article manager

Hi Paul,

got it. The secret that it works:

The "ordering icon (2 triangles on the very left position of the menu)" needs to be clicked in the menu bar of category manager manager. Only then, drag and drop of components is enabled. Otherwise, the components can not be moved.
This works in the same way for articles and menus.
(For those who struggle with the same issue... (I had sorted it via title)).

Cheers,
Lars.
