layout problem

Hi - I've got a custom html item in Grid1 and a zen slideshow in Grid3.

www.bizzybounce.co.uk/newsite

They are the same depth at screen full width, but the slideshow reduces in depth (naturally) when the screen width reduces, while the custom html stays the same sort of depth.

Client says he wants them to stay the same depth. Any idea how I can achieve this?

Thanks

Hi Ian,

What page is this on the site?

With images this is expected behaviour otherwise they would distort

You could reduce the content to match the height of the image as it reduces

Hi Paul - this is actually the home page, but it appears on most pages on iPad minis and up.

Clearly I need to reduce the content on the left to match the image.

Is it possible to reduce the depth of the custom html as the screen width reduces?

Thanks

Hi Ian,

Yeah you could go down that route using media queries

You would also need to tidy up your html and replace br tags in the content with HTML containing classes and using display block

Would require quite a few media queries and not that straight forward

Hmmm. Thanks Paul.

Sounds like a lot of messing about :-(

Any other ideas?

You could try having the image and text in the one zentools module with the zentool content split in two columns

But I think you would have the same problem - the image resizes to preserve the image dimensions rather than distort

I'm afraid
