Putting container border around template content

Is it possible to have a container border around all template content eg header, main content, footer like Protostar template

Not exactly sure what you mean - can you elaborate - perhaps add a pic?

Yes sorry - you know how protostar template is a boxed template and you can add a background colour or image.

Just wondering if this was possible with Responsive2 to have a background colour but still have the whole of the website content with a white background?

The administrator has disabled public write access.
So you would need to add your background colour and remove the background

body {background-color:red;}
#zen-wrap {background-color: transparent;}

And the add back the background colours to the rows .zen-spotlight class

#topwrap .zen-spotlight, #navwrap .zen-spotlight { background: #fff;}

for example
