Where to set zen menu's menu subtitle colour?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I added a subtitle (subline) to a menu item. Although the menu items' colour are black... the subtitle is white an therefore invisible on my page.

Where do I set the colour for the subtitle? I assumed it would be in the template but can not find it.

Hi

You need to target

#menu .zen-menu-caption {color: #eeeeee;} in your css

Thanks Paul, I understand I can target it via CSS but shouldn't, by default, it take on the same colour as "Navbar Link Color" found in the template's config panels?

It seems like an oversight to me... no?

Depends on the users preference I'd guess - you could make that argument but me personally I'm not sure I'd always use the same colour for the caption as for link

I'll ask the team later today about it

Sounds good Paul. For the sake of consistency, if you chose not to have it the same (by default) then it would make sense to have another colour picker for this item.
As a user, I wasted much time looking for where this would be defined since I saw the menu item's colour defined.
Food for thought.

I've checked this with Anthony and it should be the heading colour value

However as some point in a recent update we introduced a bug so its not working

We will fix this as soon as can - so in the mean time I'd suggest using the css I suggested
