I've been trying to figure out how to link the Twitter, Instragram and Facebook social icons bottom LH side of the Ecolife template (see attached). Can you advise please.

To setup as the demo jb for ecolife this module is a custom html module type, so treat each icon as a link.

Highlight each icon (or image if the icons are images), then create a normal link, usually via the chain link icon on the editor toolbar. The link will be the url to your social media page relating to the icon.

In addition there are social icons built into this template that appear on the top right (?) of the page. These are setup in the template admin.

For the icons you could use the shortcodes plugin icon syntax

and use the linking syntax for the icon

Alternatively as Ian said icons can be added via the template settings

Another option would be to use the zensocial Joomla Bamboo extension and use the font icons option
