Issues with dropdown menus on Venture template

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Thank you so much for working on this. I really do appreciate it. Let me know when you have a new version to test, and I will be happy to do so. In the meantime we are putting the launch of the new website on hold until we can resolve these issues.

I look forward testing you have when you are ready.

Rob my colleague has pointed out what the issue probably is

You have an index.html file in the root - if you remove this the template should work

I'm sorry but I don't have an index.html file in my root. Not in the root of the template, the Joomla instance, or in the root of the whole hosting account as the Joomla instance I am working on is in a subdirectory.

So I am not certain what you are referring to.

Hi

If you remove this file as a test does the template work?

Hi So sorry for the delay.

Ive just run through your site again in Chrome and firefox and changed browser widths etc but I cant seem to recreate the issue you are seeing.
Are you still seeing it? Does it just happen at a specific resolution now?
Thanks

So sorry for the delay. I got caught up in some issues with another project. I could not get to testing things again until this morning.

At first I saw the same thing you were seeing. The menu drop downs were working properly.

However I noticed something. The responsive breakpoints were no longer set to what they were set to. Also, many other settings in the template reverted back to the defaults.

Once I changed the responsive breakpoint for the nav collapse so that the menu would change to the mobile menu before the regular menu wrapped, the menu drop downs are doing what they were. They are offset again.

So please take a look at my website again as this issue is not resolved yet.

Let me know what else I can try to fix this. I am willing to test any patches you can come up with.

My previous reply was before the template update. I just redid my tests, and still see the issue with the dropdown menus after the template update.

So the problem still exists.
