Google font issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I would like to use Marck Script Google font in my logo.
There is a small detail - I need a cyrillic char set.

To use this font I add Marck+Script&subset=latin,cyrillic to Google Font - Logo field.

But it is automatically added by the template to the font-family line in the resulted page and it does not work correctly. There should be font-family: 'Marck Script', cursive; or font-family: 'Marck Script'; only.

How can I change font in this case?

Paul,

Unfortunately no.

It works only if I use html as it is written at the google site. I can write the correct page manually but I don't know how to realise the strings that is required by Google font with your template.
For this font the strings in the link part and in CSS part must be different. Is it cyrillic or not it is not so important. :-)
Here you can find the google instruction for this font www.google.com/fonts#QuickUsePlace:quickUse/Family:Marck+Script/Script:cyrillic

how can I do it with Venture?

Yeah I used that with obviously no success but I'm not quite following this bit

"It works only if I use html as it is written at the google site. I can write the correct page manually but I don't know how to realise the strings that is required by Google font with your template."

Do you mean if you add the google code manually it works but not when added via the font section of the template?

I mean if I write the separate html page with correct instructions -

<link rel="stylesheet" href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300%7COpen+Sans:600%7CMarck+Script&subset=latin,cyrillic" type="text/css" />

and
#logo h1,#logo h2,#logo h3
{
font-family: 'Marck Script';
}

It works.

But I don't know how to achieve the same result with template.

Sure I can
but first I try to explain what is wrong with your example.

When you use Marck+Script:cyrillic string it does not link the cyrillic symbols - only Latin. With the same results you can use just Marck+Script.

In my attachment you can see both strings with cyrillic and without

This is the cyrillic text - You can use it: Этот текст содержит только кириллические символы.

There is only one correct option (or I've not found another) - You can find it in my previous post.

And this example how it should be - I've copied the generated html, and changed

Marck+Script: cyrillic in the link line to Marck+Script&subset=latin,cyrillic

Yes, it works. But how did you do it? See my example with logo - the font setting is the same.

Can you try turning on the fontloader option in the fonts tab and use

Marck+Script::cyrillic

Also try

Marck+Script::latin,cyrillic

I'm taking this from the js tab from here
www.google.com/fonts#QuickUsePlace:quickUse/Script:cyrillic

Paul,
I can say it works but with strange logic
1. if i change only the logo part of settings - the logo font is changed - OK
2. if i change both the body and logo part of settings - the body and logo fonts are changed - OK
3. but if I change the body part of setting only there is no effect to the body font. Does it mean i can not change them separately?

And I don't like that there is a flash with fonts when I use the Font loader - first the text appears with default font. Is there any possibility to change font without font loader in my case.
