Sorry to ask you a stupid question - how I use "standard joomla installer"? Do I go to Extensions -> install and select the new zip file?

I have already backed up the site using Akeeba. Thanks.

You are correct that is the standard Joomla installer method. Just upload the jb template zip file and follow any advice Paul has given you.

Again it is good practice to have a good tested backup.

I'm trying to reduce the height of the sop slideshow as well and reading what's here makes no sense.
Where is the height setting that is being mentioned?

Hi

In the theme tab you need to adjust the banner and tabs style section > Banner minimum height
