Ps: of course, also a "slow way" to set my home page to look as your Rasa2 home page, is good for me. Any suggestion would be wonderfull to me ;-)

Thank you!!! :-) :-) :-)

Hi Silvia

Do you have a localhost set up on your development environment?

I've found it myself easiest to work alongside a quickstart / demo site

That way you can compare settings and configurations

I've a temporary "test site" (not in localhost) where i made changes before change the real web site.

So I have to download and install your quickstart package to have my home page like yours?

Yes I would set up a quickstart package so you can use it as a guide

Then copy the settings across to your real site

Ok!

I've uploaded your standard quickstart package but home page it's not like yours (I used my old database, perhaps I have to recreate it?)

I also try to discver module position you've used in your demo home page typing bambootheme.com/showcase/nov14/?tp=1

It means that adding ?tp=1 it doesn't work, perhaps you've disabled it in your administration panel.

HERE WHAT I NEED

I "simply" need to know ihow it's possible to put in my home page (and ONLY in my homepage!!!) the same configurations of yours. I try for many hours, and read a lot all suggestion in internet forum blog and similar, before to disturbe you again, but I don't jet find a solution) Next life I'll born in Australia or England so to me will be more easy to read english instructions ;-)

Thank you for your wonderful work, Rasa2 Template is the better template I've never used !!!

Cheers :-D

Hi Silvia,

Yes with a quickstart install you need a new database for it to work correctly and to install the sample data you need the sample data button selected

To enable the template positions you need to go to

global configuration > templates as shown in the screenshot

sorry should have added you need to enable the button at the top

Once selected it will show template positions on the front end using ?tp=1

This is a lot more useful if you can get a copy of the demo site (quickstart) installed

If you are still having problems recreating the home page - can you add a screenshot with the areas marked that you need help with

Although I would suggest trying to a demo site installed as it will be much easier for you to follow and compare with :)

You're really kind!!!

I'll install your quickstart using sample data, of course, I'd have get it by myself. In that days too much to work, simple things appears to much complicated. Sorry for asking you for so simple and basic Joomla questions.

Be happy and Thank You!!!!!!

Ps: now almost everything is working as I like.

I 've made a lot of tests, and discover that to set a name inside my grid - images, i have to put words inside the name of the file before upload the image, and word has to be separated by underscore with a - - sign before and after:

If the name of the uloaded file is:

anywordyoulike-Title_of_image-anywordyoulike.jpg
You will see Title of Image !!!!!!!!

An Example if I upload an image with this file name:

image-Nature_is_Beautiful-123.jpg

In my web site appears correctly : Nature is Beautiful

I discover this making a lot of tests. It's the correct way or there's a better one?

This one is good enought for me!!!!!

Cheers

Yes this is the right way of adding images

This is how I name images myself

Just for any other user

It also has a couple of other benefits

If using the JCE editor when images named this way, JCE will strip the _ for the alt

Can upload using the media manager as its a valid image naming format

Hi, I'm setting my Rasa2 template like your Rasa2 Demo, and all works perfectly. I have a a pair of issues only with the mega menu:

1) I put a new item of my menu in www.abcmaremma.it in the last menu (FATTI TROVARE - SERVIZI ALLE AZIENDE) But it not opens with mouse over on it, it shows the secondary item only in I clic on it. How can I fix it?

2) Search menu doesn't appears like yours. Can you tell me how can I put it in my web site like in Rasa2 Demo?

Thank you in advance!!!!!!

Hi

1. In the module itself do you have it set to show drop downs?

I notice a slight glitch with the menu

#menu ul > li:last-child a:after, #menu ul > li:last-child .zen-menu-heading:after {top: 15px;}

should adjust it a little
