How can I add images to slideshow?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,
I'm using Rasa2, I have just installed zentools module, set all parameters correctly (I think so) but I have a question: where I can choose images I've just uploaded in my ftp Images cartel? In my control panel I can choose almost everything about a slideshow, or carousel, or grid. But, perhaps it's to late, but I don't find in any of your documentarion how to insert images in slideshow?

I only need a link of your documentation file that explain how can I do this.

Thanks!!!

Hi

You've uploaded the images to a folder called cartel?

Are you wanting to display images from this folder directly and not from content?

What layout are you wanting to use on the site?

Cheers

Ps: I read all documentation, but Image Source Settings it's not awailable in my ZenTools administration panel in no one of the pages of ZenTools module.

I'll like to choose the folder on my server that I' d like to use to retrieve the images from.

In my panel is missing that section, described also here:

zentools.joomlabamboo.com/image-source-settings

Perhaps I have not uploaded all tools I need to see it?

Thank you in advance!

Please just install as per the normal joomla installer and it will overwrite the existing version but not affect the settings

PLEASE WAIT, PERHAPS I'VE FOUND A SOLUTION!!!

Please just install as per the normal joomla installer and it will overwrite the existing version but not affect the settings

I've uploaded using joomla installer a new

JB_mod_zentools_J2.5_J3+_1.13.8
I was using the older
JB_mod_zentools_J2.5_J3+_1.13.7

Nothing happens. SlideShow doesn't work, and in the administration panel I don't see in any place how to choose what folder to set it.

In my panel is missing that section, described also here:

zentools.joomlabamboo.com/image-source-settings

This is not awailable at all in my site.

Perhaps I have not uploaded all tools I need to see it?

You can see my SlideShow in www.abcmaremma.it

Hi,

The 'image source settings' tab will only show if you have selected folder as the source of the content in the layout tab.
You also need to add the image element to the layout for the images to show on the frontend of the site.

You may want to take a look at zentools2, which is the latest major version of zentools: zentools2.joomlabamboo.com/

Regards

Hi Paulus and Rob,

Thank you so much. I've uploaded installing by Joomla the latest version of the module.

After this change I had to exit than enter again in my administration panel, and now I can set images folder as i like.

Now works perfectly!!!

Thank you.
