Navigation Bar not Level

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Paul:

OK, I am just about done with this website: www.teegathaohzheh.org/
You will notice however that one of the menu items is not lining up with the rest of those on the nav bar. I am going to include a screen shot for you.
There is one other thing that looks ODD, that is the tiny bar/line that appears after the last menu item.

Not sure why that is there...
Can provide a solution the menu Resources, maybe because it is set as a Text Separator..

Cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,

With the link type can you try changing to the menu-heading link instead

Menu heading is listed in the same place as separator e.g. in the menu link types under system links

Not sure if I understand all this Paul... I changed the Resources to External URL... and the menu item moved... see here:

www.teegathaohzheh.org/

But the Video Specials moved down...

Not external link - "menu heading" link type instead of separator

Regarding the thin line

#menu ul > li:last-child a:after, #menu ul > li:last-child .zen-menu-heading:after {top: 15px;}

Can you try adding this

hmm right - yeah still not aligned

Odd that, should work I'll have to work out the specificity and give you a style to tweak

I wonder what would happen if I changed the 'order' of the menu items...
I will try that and let you know. I just changed the order of the menu items... and it is still showing below the rest of the menus...

Hi Tony,

changing the order will make no difference its the link type that is the problem

So it's missing a style compared to the others

Try adding

#menu .with-caption span.zen-menu-heading {padding-top:8px;}

Hi Paul:
Took a break to watch ManU...
Now, so far I have this CSS code in the custom.css file:

.main-content-inner p, .main-content-inner li {font-size:1.25em;}
#menu ul > li:last-child a:after, #menu ul > li:last-child .zen-menu-heading:after {top: 15px;}
#menu .with-caption span.zen-menu-heading {padding-top:8px;}

Is this correct, as it has not made any difference to the navigation menus being lined up?

Hi Tony,

The alignment looks better for me

Perhaps the dropdown icon needs tweaking?

So all sorted now?

Or do you still need help with the top100 module?

Hi Paul:

I would have liked the green corner tag on the middle module at the top3 position. All programs are running as scheduled... but I guess then the top100 would not work, am I correct?

Cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,

add all the classes as before making sure they don't have line breaks in the module class box
