Menu Hover on deeper items

Oddest thing the hamburger/bar menu on the far right appears when hovering over the deepest menu items. #menu ul li ul li ul li

Any ideas?

I was playing with flex on the menus to equally space them out responsively. But that caused this odd issue.

Any time any of the dropdown menu items are rolled over, even if not visible, then the whole menu appears. See screenshot of the hidden menu items that if you roll over, then you will see that the parent dropdown will appear.

I have given up for now and just relied on multiple media queries and commented out the flex CSS.
