Hi Paul,
Thanks for the fix.
It appears that anytime a module appears in a zen menu, it will also display on the menu item anywhere the menu item appears (even in other menu positions).
Would be nice if this could be addressed in the zen menu interface, but it maybe a joomla core thing. This fix makes sense.

I will try it out, and let you know.
