Can't add article from front end

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I've tried a number of ways to add an article from the front end, but all that happens is the link that should be opening a data entry page, just goes back to the Home page.
Even something as simple as creating a menu item as, 'create article' does not work. Click on that menu item and it goes to the Home page.
Client wants to enter news items regularly, so I must get this working.
Could there be a javascript conflict or something? Any help to get it working - even reloading the template - I'd gladly do.
I've tried everything for 2-3 days now. I'm stumped.

Hi

Do you see any error when trying to create the article via the front end?

Do you have a link for the site?

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,
Best to do this by Ticket as site is still offline and I need to give you passwords to access those features.

For anyone that is using Content Builder, there is a setting in the Content Builder System plugin that is on by default:
"Disable Joomla built-in article submission" .
Click it to off and save yourself hundreds of wasted hours trying to fix this problem.
