I am running a site with the Newstream2 Template and have defined a collapsed menu for small screens.

As login, I included the login module into the mega-menu which works well for the full menu. Unfortunately, the module does not render in the menu if collapsed.

width is 12 columns as also for the other menu entries. "Hide when collapsed"-option is turned off.



Any idea why this happens?

The problem with modules in a mobile is the height - a module will take a fair bit of scrolling

Is there a particular reason you need people to log in to the site via their mobiles? It won't be easy editing the site in a mobile

yes, there is functionality available only for registered users. it is not about editing content, but viewing certain personalized things.

should i rather work with the off-canvas sidebar?

I think that sounds a decent idea
