module classes not being applied

I'm trying to add the primary1 (or any) module class to a module in the sidebar2 position. None of the module classes seem to be getting applied.

I have tried disabling my custom css file, no difference and have also tried with and without a space before the class.

Using Firebug, the class hasn't been published, but if I add it manually in Firebug in shows as intended.

Can I just confirm -

You are adding the class/suffix in the advanced tab of the module and to module class suffix box?

What template version number are you using?

I think I'm going to put myself forward for the "Muppet of the Year" award. I was putting the class in the Menu Class Suffix instead of the Module Class Suffix.

Sincere apologies for wasting your time Paul. Its working as it should (already was!)
