Lifestyle2 ThemeMagic & MegaMenu not working

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm not sure what seeing the live site would accomplish. The problem is ONLY on the backend.

I ended up coding all the modifications (mostly colours and module widths). Going through someone else's code is hard work! lol I wish I had had a guide to all the variables and what each one does (would have made my life A LOT simpler). Is that possible, does it exist somewhere? Or is that forbidden fruit? ;)

Hi there,

Lifestyle2 is based on Bootstrap so you can use that as a guide.

Because Theme Magic uses information from the front end if there is a javascript error or a limitation on the server then sometimes we can see what that is with admin access.

You can supply details to the back end via a ticket if you would like us to look.

Thanks

I've done this, and I got a TON of "Invalid CSS property declaration at: *"
some for: font-awesome.css, one for admin.css, a few for megamenu.css,
and a whole bunch (really a lot, like 100) for bootstrap.css

Does that give you a clue as to what the problem is?

Thanks for your help!

Is giving access to the backend a REQUIREMENT?

no its not a requirement per se

If a thread becomes quite long together with us not able to see the site its much more efficient for both the member and us if a ticket is opened

If a user heavily customises the site it is even more difficult to troubleshoot via a ticket

The only thing I modified was the colours. And the menu width up top (unpublished a module, which really, is not a modification of the template at all).

Hope that helps! :)

Theme magic is likely to be a hosting issue which we will address in the ticket while the css issues unless complicated we can look to help you with on the forum
