Hello Joomlabamboo People,
My boss really likes the look and feel of the Lifestyle2 template, but his website which is up for renovation needs a page for ecommerce where he can sell a product on. I have read that you can assign different templates for different pages in joomla, but wanted to verify with you. I was wondering if this would be do-able?? I currently am on the 6 month developer plan.

Its certainly doable but the question I'd ask is it worth installing an e-commerce component?

Is it just one product?

Thank you so much for your response! My boss has some dynamic content that he wants to showcase which is why he loves the Lifestyle2 template (it really has great potential). He is on a second career and his product is a high end accessory with several options available partially inspired by his prior career which he is well known for. Would an ecommerce component be available for the Lifestyle2 template? Would it be difficult to impliment?
Or is there an amazingly dynamic ecommerce template you could steer me towards?

Hi Ricard19,

Lifestyle has support for hikashop but as with any e-commerce system it does involve a fair amount of work.

E-commerce isn't easy

Hikashop comes in a basic free form but may require an upgrade to a purchased version (depending on your spec)

With lifestyle if you need the quickstart with hikashop installed please create a ticket and we can provide a download for it (the quickstart download doesn't contain hikashop)
