Have you updated Joomla?
Have you tried "fix database" via Extension manager?

Ive not seen that before but it looks like an issue with the database collation.

Or perhaps try the database feature in Admin Tools that I imagine will be able to fix this.

This is a quickstart package with no changes made by me. Is there any reason why it should have no search function? I'm confused why I'm having to fix a fresh installation.

According to the following article this is a small thing to fix, but when I try to run the SQL query I'm doing something wrong - it says "#1146 - Table 'planet85_bestukhashtags.TABLE_NAME' doesn't exist " Do you know why I get that error? I think I'm identifying the TABLE_NAME incorrectly.
