Hi,

congratulation to this easy to use module.

I tried to use it within an article with the "command" :

{loadmodule mod_jbmaps2,JB Maps2}

In reply I got the map and two error messages.

What did I do wrong?

Hi Rolf,

Do you get the same with the loadposition syntax as well?

What is the error reporting level on the site?

Hi Paul,

thanks for the fast reply.

With "loadposition" I get exact the same result.

(I am running Joomla 3.7.2)

Hi Rolf,

What error reporting level do you have set up?

What php version is running?

What is the file name of the maps module you are using?

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

error level was at "maximum". With "default" the messages disappeared.

Php is 5.6.30 cgi-fcgi

File name: JB_mod_jbmaps2_J3+_1.2.4.zip

Hi Rolf,

At Maximum, all sorts of warnings and notices will show up

Maximum is best kept for when you have a white screen instead of a website - setting to maximum is then good for showing the fatal php error

Thanks Paul,

so I learnt something on top.

The side was an upgrade from 2.5. I never touched the level setings.

Kind regards
Rolf

You can set error reporting via the configuration file - this comes in handy with white screens

When you have the site finished - it is best to turn off error reporting via the global configuration (for security) by setting it to none
