The Base 3 template doesn't show up

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello good people! I downloaded the base 3 template and when the upload finished an error message appeared at the site front page ---> jerror: T3 Plugin is not enabled. I googled it and I figured out that I had to install the T3 Framework. So, I downloaded from that link: github.com/t3framework/t3/tags.

Then, I installed it and I set the Base3 template to the Default. But I get the site with the message: "Congratulations! You have a Joomla site! Joomla makes it easy to build a website just the way you want it and keep it simple to update and maintain."

The Base 3 template doesn't show up.
Can you help me out please?

Hi There,

Are you installing the Quickstart file or the smaller standard template?

When you say it doesn't show up do you mean on the front end of the site or in template manager?

Cheers

Hello Paul,

I successfully installed the smaller standard template. But, when i select the base 3 template in template manager i get the site that I attach, in the front end.

Yes that looks correct but with using the joomla sample data

If you want the site to look like the demo you need to install the quickstart version

I see. But, that option will update my joomla 2.5 to joomla 3+ right?

I installed the joomla 3 quickstart package but I was driven directly to the "Congratulations! Joomla! is now installed." page. . I removed the installation file. And through the filezilla I changed the configuration file. And I still get the same home page. The one that I attached earlier. :(

It sounds like you didn't run through the installation again.

You need to delete the configuration.php file and reupload the installation folder if you have already run the installation.

Thanks
