We have got a strange error where submenus on tablets do not work. They work find on a desktop browser though.

Has anyone seen this problem ?

Ok I have narrowed the problem to a class called nav.

The problem is if I remove this class then the mobile version does not work!!

Have a link?

Can you also include the version number of the template and plugin framework used

Based on more reading there is a conflict with the built in menu.

Can you please look into and provide a fix ?

Will take a look - just checking but the reliable method to check versions is via extension manager

Just got my ipad going - it works ok for me on it

The menu is split over two lines in portrait

Need to look in Landscape on i-Pad and then it does not work.

I can see and click the dropdowns fine for a while with no problem

Yes the sub-menu.

We have replaced the menu now as we must have the submenu working.

Can you test locally ?

I've not seen this problem on the forum before with a T3 template

Is it possible to create a ticket for the site - do you have a development version of the site?

we have a development version and I will raise a ticket.

I did manage to fix the problem, but then I broke the mobile version - lol

Edit the following files

/subdomains/dev/plugins/system/t3/includes/menu/megamenu.tpl.php


Remove nav class from line 43 :-

Before :-

$cls = 'nav navbar-nav level0';

After :-

$cls = 'navbar-nav level0';

This removes the conflict but then you mess up the mobile version!!!
