new site, blanc page...

I had Hub3 uploaded, so I tried it. It works, but some pages still show in the joomla Beez3, although they're changed to Hub3. The Base3 doesn't work. is there a specific difference between the technologies of the Hub3 an the Base3?

When I have the Base3 assigned and as default I get a blank page. With Hub2 it works, but my changes don't appear immediately. Or for example right now I have the same logo showing in a higher position with some pages. www.intertechstrategy.com/new

With the server is there any caching enabled?
Did you turn on error reporting to max when using base3?

In the Global Conf the caching is dissabled.
Error reporting is to max.

Do you see any errors with base3 on the white screen?

I checked again and the error reporting was to the default. When I changed it to Maximum I got a message: An error has occurred.

Could not write to the configuration file

I think the problems stem from the server - I'd suggest talking with the host again

Could be a few things both configuration or hosting related

Try editing this line in the configuration.php file at the root of the site (you may want to have a backup of this file first)

Change
public $dbtype = 'mysqli';

to
public $dbtype = 'mysql';

Hi

You will need to changed the error reporting level to see what is happening

public $error_reporting = 'default';

to

public $error_reporting = 'maximum';

Do you not see an error listed after uploading the edited configuration file?

No, I just see a blank page. Should I change the mysql to mysqli again?

Do you have a backup of the site?

This is either a joomla configuration issue or a hosting issue - it doesn't look template or extension related

Are the hosts not able to help in any way?

I do have a backup that I used to upload. I worked on MAMP.
The host is not helping at all. Should I install joomla on the server and recreate my pages? It's a simple site with a few pages.

When I have the Base3 assigned I get a blank page. With Hub2 it works, but my changes don't appear immediately.

I switched again to Hub2 and it's working! What is the difference between the two templates?
