I am using the Base3 template and it is really great - flexible and many options.
This is my site that I am building:

I have done two things that have created problems, which I am having trouble solving:

First, I have added what appears to be a module in the GRID13 position on the home page (Title: HOME) which I cannot trace to remove. It does not appear to be a module - and I can't figure where it is coming from
Any direction would be most appreciated

Second, I made an adjustment to the "SEARCH" module and would like to eliminate the "Search..." text that appears to the left

One last thing is to remove the "New" tags from my acordian menus:

Can I suggest changing the pics as I'm having issues loading the site

Filesize seems to be the problem on the slideshow and on the filtered grid

We are looking at over 5mb - I think if you change to jpgs rather than pngs that should reduce quite a lot

Home is the main component area
If you are looking to hide that check the layout tab of the template settings

Its at the bottom - you are looking for
Remove mainbody output from homepage

Search wise you need to hit spacebar in the box label field in the search module

and the "new" that will be in the class suffix in the modules advanced tab
