'Read more' option doesn't work - Joomla 3.3.

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I can't put the 'read more' option to work. I've targeted some menu items to category blog option but the page shows the articles full text... I think I've activated the right options in the component configuration panel, so I can't figure out what's wrong.

Thanks for any help.

Do you have a section of a text designated as intro text?

No, I don't. How do I do that?... Do I have to edit each article and hit the 'read more' button under the content box?...

With the JCE editor you can click the button and it will add the readmore section above the line

In this case I'm using it for zentools but its the same for text for blog layouts

OK, that's similar to TinyMCE which's the editor I'm using. I wish I could use the global configuration panel instead because of the 'read more' character limit option. But's OK. Thanks a lot, once again!

The "read more character limit"?

I would recommend using JCE if only to make image handling and adding classes to image easier

An example of this is here

Users find the image handling much easier with JCE :)

OK, thanks a lot, Paul! For now I think I'll use Zentools grid instead.
Thanks again!
