Trying Base 3, where's the Megamenu?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Giving up on Portal for now and trying Base 3, but where is the megamenu? Is there another extension I need to install to make it work?

Thanks

Not quite sure I follow

There is a button option for it in the admin

Do you have a menu published to the menu position?

Cheers

I'm just as confused. In the Template Manager under Navigation, I want to select megamenu in menu, but it does not appear as an option...

What are you looking to select?
You should see a menu option in the navigation tab so you can select the menu

And providing you have the menu published and set up correctly it should work

I am feeling really stupid here.

I do know that it should work. The Megamenu button does open and a menu appears in it. But I can't seem to be able to select it. There has to be some setting somewhere that I have missed.

Sorry to be such a bother on this one!

The menu will be populated by the menu created in menu manager

The menu added to mega menu is chosen in the navigation tab of the template

What are you trying to select?

I am trying to select the megamenu as the menu under Navigation. With all this difficulty, I am starting to think that I haven't installed everything I need for Base 3?

Base3 has one menu type available - this is the mega menu
There is no other menu type you can select

You can set up the mega menu so it operates like an old module menu but it is still operated via the mega menu button

okaaaay, so is there a reason why the menu does not show on the front end?

It shows fine in megamenu in the template.

Thanks!

I'm assuming its one of these

don't have the menu published,
its published to certain access level other than public,
not set to the menu position,
links not published or invalid

Right.
The menu is created
It is published
Public access
Menu is linked to articles

I created a new Menu module, put it in Menu position, and what I get is the big blue stripe you can see in the attachment.

If you have a link perhaps create a ticket with super admin access details - think this may be quicker

Try re-installing the T3 plugin from the template download page - you have a js file missing for mega menu
