Dear Anthony,
with the new 1.0.5 update you added a new "component area". Please, could you add a section in the templates documentation how to create/edit this area?

Its intended really to handle the ability to login.

What are you looking to do?

Hi Paul,
currently I have no real plan to use it, but it would be nice to be able to play around a little bit with that feature. It seems to me that it may give some kind of more options for the overlay content of the home panel. Right?

Hi Michael,

The intention is to enable users to use components that need the component/content area to work

Not specifically for the content area as such or any overlay content
