Images under the menu sidebar

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

i'm trying to se my fist gallery choosing photo set as panel type, and collapse menu to NO.

the problem is that the first image of the chosen folder is under the sidebar menu in transparency and i cannot see it. I would like to use the collapse menu to NO so why image gallery does not start from the edge of the sidebar?
am i doing something wrong?
I tried several photo set layout, now using 3432 but i already tried 5345, the gallery begins under the menu.

Right ok with you now

The behaviour for the template is for the image gallery to be under the menu - for the photo gallery its intended for the sidebar to be collapsed

If you check the demo and click the gallery that has the menu collapsed

Yes i know, my customer would like to have it not collapsed.
I should convice him on the collapsed one.

another thing, i noticed that if I publish new panel in the sidebar, the width change randomly, namely, It is not related to the lenght of the panel title string. to solve my problem showed you before i can set the collapse on OFF and set a fixed width that permit me to see the gallery correctly, but i can't understand why the width change itself when i publish panels.
I hope I explained well.

Thank you

I published the tab "gallery" and the sidebar increase of 20% width, and the word "gallery" is shorter than "scotch and bic" or "come and visit me"

You can add this code to change the width of the sidebar

#sidebar {
max-width: 200px !important;
}

You should put it in your custom css file

I renamed the custom.css file, added the string
#sidebar {
max-width: 200px !important;
}
but nothing seems to happen, I also set the pixels to 30px just to see if change something, but nothing changes.

The cache is clear obivusly

At the moment I can't see the custom.css file in the source code - is it renamed as exactly custom.css?

It won't render with a capital C it needs to be custom.css

Virtually all JB templates will not display the custom stylesheet unless its custom.css

I can't see it on the site if I view the source code
