Little bugs...

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello there,

Great template ! Here are my problems...

1.I noticed that the name into the panels into the template and panels name's into modules are different !

Template : panel1
Module : Panel1

So if it's not working, check that first !

2.Also the "soundcloud" social picto is missing ! (I need that one...replaced by Rss for the moment...)

3. "Read more" does not work... :(

4.The theme.css is on 1 line...Come on...Ok I'll update with custom.css , but to see all properties, I would love something more readable... :)

Here's the live site :
www.rozwell.net/

Thanks !

Hi there,

1. Will address that in an update today.

2. I just checked the icon set we use for Zen social and it doesnt have Sound Cloud unfortunately.

3. It's a one page template in essence so it's not possible to read more to the full article. eg there is no component space in the theme. You could use Zentools and display the content in a lightbox though.

4. Hehe got you. We used less to create the css and it compresses the output. So you could use less and compile the css again if you are familiar with less or use the chrome inspector and then add your styles to the custom.css file.

Thanks - looks liek you are putting together an interesting site :)

Hello Anthony,

1. thanks
2.Ok, I could use images and add it into the directory, but they are just huge now ! (and stretched)
Is it a bug ? Do I have to apply a CSS ? I would like to have the same visual result as with the icons.
Or maybe I could add an icon also into zentools social module ? Or could you plan to add it ? (as soundcloud is a social media so...)

3.I'm trying to do so, but seems something is wrong with my parameters, or maybe there's a bug ?

4.Well I have to upgrade my brain once again... ;)

Hopefully it will be a nice site yeah :)

Well, I don't know where the icons of the template are (bacause there's a cloud in it that I wanted to add into Zensolcial module, and into Zensocial, I found :
social_foundicons.eot
social_foundicons.woff

I don't know know how to edit that files type...

2. Actually the module isn't set up to easily add icons. We use this icon set:

zurb.com/playground/foundation-icons

It's not easy to add icons to any existing font set unfortunately. You could create your own set from here: fontello and name it social_foundicons.eot etc in the folder you found.

Actually ... I'll look at adding this as an option to load your own set because it makes more sense to make this flexible. If you dont mind waiting a week I can do this for next Friday. I am away for five days now.

3. Yes you need to use lightbox as the link source int he module settings.

4. That's not such a bad thing :)

2.No problem, hmm I need to renew account... :)

3.Ok keep digging to make it work...

4.Defenetly :) I see approximatvely how less works, but I did not expect a 1 line css (I mean I've seen sites compiling css with less with a "regular human readable" original css...So I don't get how to have an original css structured in a readable maner...

Just attaching an uncompressed version of the css here.

I used this tool to do the uncompressing:

Ill add it to the update when I fix the component issue from the other thread.

On the note of the compressed version of css. The css is generated dynamically from the template admin and rather than adding another option to select between compressed and non-compressed output I chose to just keep it simple and optimise the output for your live site. It cuts close to 30% off the file size when compressed.

I understand why you need to see it uncompressed but the intention was for developers to use the inspector in chrome or firefox to see the rendered uncompressed css. But ant any rate I hope this helps your work.

Cheers
