New Lifetyle Extension Glitches

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Extension glitches are stopping the create account, lost password, create account, etc, from functioning. Check it out here, goo.gl/62vaPo .

How can I quickly solve these problems?

Hi Eric,

You need to create menu items for your registration, login etc pages.

At the moment they are using the homepage template which is set not to show the main component area.

This article may help: www.joomlabamboo.com/blog/how-to-joomla/how-to-avoid-the-joomla-menu-itemid-issue

You can also try the sub-layout option in the layout tab of the template settings.

Regards,

Rob

Thanks for the response but, my issue remains. For instance: If the Login is clicked on top, it displays a login page with options to create account, password change, etc. I can not find or am unable to establish a link for the "Create an account" option.

I appreciate the suggestion and article but, it doesn't help with fixing the already added modules. I'm not too well versed on implementing the sub-page you suggested.

I would also appreciate any other suggestion or fixes you have.

Thanks

Okay, dumb question time. (Put on your seat-belts for this one!) Shouldn't the "Create an account" option automatically open to the create an account dialog box? What am I missing Paul? (It has to be something soo simple that I'm missing a major basic!)

Do you have it displaying on a template that includes the content / component area?

e.g. a template using the default layout (selected in the template settings layout tab)

Thanks Paul, it works BUT... It seems as if I'll have to start all over because the display is pushed to one side of the screen and other portions are missing. (View at goo.gl/62vaPo )

Do you have a home layout assigned to a template style for the home page

and a different template style with the default layout ?

(I'll check...) Okay, another dumb question coming your way. Where would I change the style for the "Home" style so that I can make the default look like the "Home" version?

Hi

The home style is a different layout so it will look different as it has different positions

Also depends how the layouts are configured within the layout tab - if you are referring to positions it would be the layout you need to look at

Layout tab - Check positions selected to show and in the responsive layout
