Trying to find an extension for Joomla

My local chamber of commerce wants a website. I only created Joomla websites using your templates.. They will probably want some sort of a lookup mechanism for instance if a website viewer would tip in electrician… the site would find the names and contact information for all of the electricians who are chamber members.

Is there some type of plug-in or extension for Joomla that would provide that type of functionality?

I'd check out the Joomla Extension Directory

Talking to the team its not something we've used much

Me and Rob have used Sobi very briefly but that may be a little complicated for you
